About Kaz
A Chartered Marketer with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Strategic Marketing and over 20 years experience.
I worked for the UK's Number 1 Retailer, Tesco as a Senior Manager. It was midway through my Tesco career that I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and was eventually retired on ill-health grounds in 2011. Keen to do something with my time and keep myself active and focused, I set up an organisation called Positive About MS. So in 2010 I put my Marketing qualifications to use and used social media to launch my organisation. The organisation was well received and now has a very healthy community. We really captured the imagination of the audience and now have a community of over 20,000. Since 2010 I have also had the opportunity of working with numerous charities/orgs with their social media and marketing. This resulted in me setting up Soc-Med: Social Media; and thus far I have had the pleasure of working with some fantastic organisations and individuals in a field that I am passionate about and where I can deliver results. This includes the BBC. In addition to my working the charities and business, I also have the privilege of creating content for Disability organisations and companies in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. I use my knowledge of Marketing and Social Media, together with my experiences gained with working with the UK's Number 1 retailer and running a non-profit organisation, Positive About MS, where I have built a community of 20,000. |
